2. Read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. Keep a double entry reading journal as you read. The first post should be your notes on Japan's post war industrialization and how it affected social development. There are 600 pages. You should aim for one entry every other chapter, with at least 26 minimum entries.
٭You should also be prepared to write an analytical essay about the novel after the first week of school. This essay will be a substantial grade.٭
